Melissa enjoys spending time with her family – most of all her grandson!
Melissa began her career in property management in 1995 as an on-site manager for a 40-unit HUD Section 8 apartment complex in Eastern Oregon. She obtained her property management license in Oregon and oversaw three properties located in Pendleton, Milwaukee, and Coos Bay. She was promoted to Area Manager and moved to Wenatchee. She oversaw 14 HUD Section 8 and Rural Development apartment complexes for the Eastern side of the State of Washington for a company based out of Bellevue.
Melissa earned an Associates of Applied Science in Accounting in 1999 while working full time and raising a family. In 2003, after moving to Boise, Idaho, she began working for a single-family management company and oversaw a portfolio of 150+ properties. She later transferred to a sister company, was named Vice President, and oversaw large apartment complexes, mobile home parks, commercial properties, and Homeowner Associations for many years.
Melissa and her family moved to Lacey to be near her grandson, and she began her career with Olympic Rentals in May 2017. Melissa is currently the Secretary of the Southwest Washington Chapter of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM) and is currently an RMP (Residential Management Professional) candidate with NARPM. She loves to spend time with her 2 grown sons and her grandson and loves to joke around at work and does her best to annoy her team members with songs that get stuck in her head.
